DAY 1 : City tour+Dayak ride
3-4 hours
Upon arrival and accommodation, in agreement with the tour guide, a walking tour of the city and a ride by special boat. The Vrbas boat called "dayak" is a specific boat only for the Vrbas river and the city of Banjaluka, like a gondola for Venice. Over the centuries, this unusual vessel became a symbol of the city, leaving its mark on the culture of the people of Banja Luka. It was used for commercial purposes, for transporting goods from coast to coast, along the water or down the water. For navigation, a 15-kilometer long route is used, in the urban part of the city, where Vrbas is characterized by shallow depths along the banks and a suitable bottom for pushing off with a pole, after which the boat got its name. Afterwards, enjoy a walking tour of the city that you will enjoy to the fullest!

The package includes a tour of the Krupa waterfall with a visit to the mills, familiarization with the old techniques of flour preparation, as well as a tasting of the local gastronomic offer, prepared according to the recipe of old generations. Arrival in the ethnic village of Ljubačke doline, which was set up as an open-air museum with the intention of showing the life of an average family collective from this area, its traditional architecture, material culture and furniture from the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century.
