Frequently Asked Question

We offer many options for all our users, depending on their preferences. On our website you can also find tours for all those who love adrenaline, for lovers of culture and history, as well as for lovers of good food.

We would advise you to take out travel insurance before the trip, however our agency follows the highest standards related to the passenger safety.

Want to lie in a hammock and not move until cocktail hour? We’ve got a trip for that. Want to power up the side of mountain at high altitude? We’ve also got a trip for that. To determine what type of trip suits you best, each of our trips comes with a Physical activity rating to let you know how physically demanding it is… or isn’t.

Simply send us a message or cancel via our site. The costs will be returned to you as soon as possible.

This is the beauty of travelling with the Good Host agency: many of our travellers join because they are travelling solo and want to meet and share experiences with like-minded people. Also, during our work, we specialized in working with tourists who come alone.

How do I obtain trip information with full details of my trip?
Make sure you bring these with you. Every trip has a set of trip information, accessible on our website, that gives you in-depth information about all aspects of your trip. To access your Essential Trip Information, please visit your trip’s specific facts page on our website. The trip information are accessible at the top of this page.

We never want to cancel a trip, but sometimes things happen. Find our more information about cancellations, credits and refunds on our Trip Cancellations page. (napraviti sekciju i za to)

Absolutely. If there are included or optional activities that you don’t wish to participate in, you can do your own thing instead. The exception to this is when we are trekking or travelling from one destination to the next. Please note that if you choose to opt out of an included activity, no reimbursement can be made by Good Host.

Good Host has treks ranging from relatively easy to extremely difficult. The easiest way to determine if a trek is right for you is to check the ‘physical acitivity’ of the trip (this can be found on our website at the top of the trip’s overview page).

The beauty of travelling with Good Host is that we encourage travelers to explore at their own pace. When you get to a destination, your guide will offer options on what you can do. Some of the group will do one activity, others will opt for something completely different while others may just choose to lie in a hammock and read a book.

If you know in advance that you will be arriving late, please let our staff know. We will notify your guide, who will leave instructions with the hotel reception as to where to meet you or your group that night or the following morning.
If you plan to arrive a day or two into the itinerary (and our group has moved to a different destination), it will be your responsibility to ‘catch up’ with the group. If this happens, we will provide you with the most up-to-date information as to where your group will be and at approximately what time.
If you are late due to unforseen circumstances or flight delays, please call the emergency contact number located on our site. Good Host cannot reimburse you if you completely miss the tour.

The safety of our passengers, hosts and guides is a major priority for Good Host. With this in mind, we monitor world events very closely and we make operational decisions based on informed advice from a number of sources. Since we have encountered numerous questions about the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, rest assured that it is completely safe to travel.

Everyone should feel comfortable when they travel with Good Host and we know that many of our travellers are part of the LGBTQI community. It’s important for our travellers to be aware of the local laws and customs in the destinations we visit as some countries have laws that discriminate against LGBTQI people. We don’t tolerate any form of discrimination, violence (verbal or physical), or sexual harassment, either between travellers or involving our guides, partners or local people. If you feel that someone is behaving inappropriately while travelling with us, please inform your tour guide immediately.
