Doboj trip details.

In the city of Doboj, better known as the "City of Three Rivers" and the "City of Good Hosts", enjoy a walk around the city and a tour of the Doboj Fortress as a cultural and historical a monument of high value that imposes the characteristic of a modern city with its silhouette. There are few places that nature has endowed so lavishly as this city and its immediate and wider surroundings. Here, three rivers meet and form a whole: Bosna, which rises below Igman and into which, coming down from the southwestern side of Mount Borja, the Usora flows. While one and a half kilometers below the Mrčevac canyon, on the southeast side at the foot of Ozren, the Spreča flows out and, like the Usora, disappears into the more powerful bed of the Bosna River. The specific geographical position of Doboj has always influenced the direction and rhythm of its development. Located under the slopes of Ozren, Trebava and Krnjin, and in the embrace of three rivers, Doboj has always been and remains an important intersection of road and railway traffic. This is evidenced by the fact that in 1864, the first macadam road was built through this town, from Brod to Sarajevo, and in 1979, the Brod-Doboj narrow-gauge railway was put into operation. and a few months later the train left for Sarajevo. In the former Yugoslavia, Doboj was one of the largest railway hubs.
